Day 01: Udaipur Arrival and Sightseeing

Welcome to Udaipur, the beautiful City of Lakes! As you arrive in the city, you will be received by our driver, who will take you to your hotel for check in. We will acquaint you with the legends of royal palaces, tranquil lakes, and lovely old cobbled streets on your first day. The magic of Udaipur is the perfect mix of history, beauty and culture that could easily come from a storybook! Here is what you will visit:

City Palace: Wonderful grand rooms, marble halls, and balconies with stunning views overlooking the lake, it is an experience not to miss. It was the heart of Udaipur’s royal identity.
Lake Pichola: Calm and scenic, the lake trip will provide a peaceful boat ride with grand views of the palaces and ghats surrounded by Lake Pichola.
Jag Mandir: A lovely little palace on the island in Lake Pichola. You will be apropos for splendid pictures and backdrops to share with friends and family.
Bagore Ki Haveli: Visiting Bagore Ki Haveli gives you delightful relics from Udaipur’s past, including old paintings and costumes, as well as a beautiful evening folk dance performance.
Jagdish Temple: A beautiful and famous temple showcasing beautiful carvings, opulent designs and a peaceful atmosphere.
Vintage Car Museum: Old royal cars from Udaipur’s kings and queens of the royal family, Awadhi and Rajputana.
Karni Mata Ropeway: Your last stop will take you to a hilltop temple with awe-inspiring views of Udaipur’s lakes and palaces.

Day 02: Udaipur Sightseeing

The second day of the trip will be a day you will cherish for the rest of your life. With quiet moments and delightful sights, you will be creating fun memories with your family in this beautiful city full of charms and pleasures, Udaipur. The magic of this city will allure you as you explore the peaceful lakes, gardens, and cultural attractions. Here are the places you will visit:

Fateh Sagar Lake: A quiet, beautiful area to experience a boat ride on the quiet lake surrounded by hills or take a walk at lakeside.
Maharana Pratap Smarak: A proud statue and park was created in honour of one of the most courageous Rajput warriors, Maharana Pratap.
Saheliyon Ki Bari: The charming garden created for royal ladies, with fountains, marble elephants, and green pathways.
Sukhadiya Circle: A fun spot for kids and families with fountains, paddle boats, snacks, and, in the evening, lights.
Lok Kala Mandal: A cultural museum that exhibits traditional puppets, music, clothing, and folk arts of Rajasthan.

Day 03: Udaipur to Jodhpur

Day 3 means saying goodbye to the lakes of Udaipur and moving to the royal blue city of Jodhpur, the second-largest city in Rajasthan. This city is filled with imposing forts, palatial buildings, and beautiful old streets. You will hear a lot of stories about kings and warriors as you get to:

Mehrangarh Fort: The large fort is placed on a hill, surrounded by thick walls, full of cannons and rooms, each filled with royal collections.
Jaswant Thada: A calming marble monument to a king in a beautiful garden overlooking a lake.
Umaid Bhawan Palace: The royal family still lives in part of this palace, which houses a museum and hotel.

Clock Tower: A popular market area with a prominent clock tower in the centre, great for shopping and seeing the local life unfold.

Day 04: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer

On Day 4, you leave the royal charm of Jodhpur and head towards the golden city of Jaisalmer. As the landscape slowly turns into desert, the magic begins. Jaisalmer welcomes you with stories of bravery, beautiful lakes, and sand all around. Today, you’ll visit:

War Museum: A special place that tells the brave stories of Indian soldiers with tanks, guns, and war memories on display.

Gadisar Lake: A peaceful lake surrounded by temples and small pavilions. You can enjoy a quiet boat ride or just sit and watch the sunset.

Day 05: Jaisalmer to Sam Sand Dunes

On Day 5 finds you engulfed in adventure as you board your vehicle headed for the magical Sam Dunes. But before you head to the golden desert experience, you'll also explore beautiful old havelis and the ghost village of Kuldhara. Once sunset approaches, you'll enjoy a night of music, dance, and delicious food beneath the stars. Here's what's on the agenda:

Saleem Singh Ki Haveli: A beautiful mansion with a unique roof resembling a peacock and full of carvings and old stories.
Patwon Ki Haveli: a set of five splendid havelis with intricate arts and crafts, balconies, and mirror work that express traders' royal lifestyles.
Kothari Haveli: a well-preserved haveli consisting of lovely courtyards, old furniture, and wondrous glass windows of all colours of the rainbow.
Kuldhara Village: A silent ghost town that was once inhabited by people who vanished overnight, leaving behind an aura of mystery.

Evening at Sam Dunes: Have a royal Rajasthani dinner, followed by folk music and dance performances, and embrace the night under a sky full of stars in the quiet desert.

Day 06: Departure – Jaisalmer or Jodhpur

The final day of your fantastic journey at the Desert and Lake. Grab some breakfast and then it’s time to gather your bags and memories, and say goodbye to the bright land of Rajasthan.

Walk on soft golden sand, hear the wind sing, and look at dunes that look like the waves.

Ride a camel like a warrior of the desert. Climb onto the back of your friendly camel and prepare for a wobbly ride that will brighten your desert experience.

Dance like no one is watching under the stars. Watch colourful folk dances unfold before your eyes; be exhilarated by drums; and enjoy delicious Rajasthani food while sitting around a bonfire.
