Start exploring historical gems like Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar, all bragging about the roles of emperors, invasions and empires.Trishanda at the chaotic beauty of Chandni Chowk, spice laden air, narrow lanes and rickshaw rides taking you into a different era.Must visit for religious abodes at the Lotus Temple and grandeur of India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan.Start your day with the modern buzz of Connaught Place or crafty-ness at Dilli Haat.

Day 3: Agra (Love written in marble)

Serenade with a smooth drive to Agra, the city of endless love. Essense of sunrise on white marble has a touch of worlds — start your day by standing at the Taj Mahal.Enjoy your time, move into the regal Agra Fort—a red sandstone citadel that was the royal palace of the Mughals. You can walk through its colonial palaces and balconies overlooking the Yamuna as well as the Taj beyond. And if you have time, visit the Mehtab Bagh to catch a bit of a meditative, dusk rear view of the Taj.

Day 4–5 : Rose-hued Royalty in Jaipur

Jaipur famously known as the Pink City – forts with their hills and colourful markets make forts rise up on all sides of Jaipur. Visit the Amber Fort, a stunning hilltop palace with mirror-worked halls and enormous courtyards. Elephants ride or get into a jeep and go uphill for the princely treatment.Afterwards, visit the City Palace which is still a royal residence & then go in awe at the Jantar Mantar — the astronomic wonder. Cross over Hawa Mahal the famous honeycomb palace and after losing yourself in the Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar, walk the block prints, juttis, gem vendors.

Day 6–7 : Udaipur — Venice of the East

Reach Udaipur, where the romance still lingers in every ripple of Lake Pichola. City Palace : the huge marble and mirror wonder is where it all begins- situate on the lake. In the evening go for a magical ride in a boat down the lake palace, bathing ghats and reflection of sunset tinged hills.On the next day visit Jagdish temple, browse for miniature and silver at shops or sit back in Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace for the sunset view from the hilltops at Udaipur Peace poetry within palatial patina.
