Day 1: Arrival in Jaipur, the Pink City

You arrive at Jaipur, which is called the Pink City, on the first day. Someone will pick you up at the airport or train station and drive you to your accommodation. After a short pause, it's time to go visit the city. You will go to the following places:
  • City Palace is a big palace complex laden with museums, courtyards, and information about the royal family.
  • Jantar Mantar is an antique astronomical observatory with big tools.
  • Hawa Mahal is a famous pink palace with five floors and 953 tiny windows.
  • Chokhi Dhani is a busy cultural village where you may eat traditional Rajasthani food, listen to folk music, witness dance performances, ride camels, and do many other things.
You should also go to the local markets to acquire crafts, jewellery, and other things to remember your trip by. Lastly, after a day of fun and eating native food, head back to your hotel in Jaipur for a good night's sleep.

Day 2: Visit Jaipur and then drive to Bikaner (330 km / 6 hours)

In the morning, go to the lovely Amber Fort. It's one of the most famous places in Jaipur. You can ride an elephant up the hill or rent a vehicle for a more thrilling adventure. Once you're inside, you can walk through the royal halls, look at the mirror work, and check out the fort's big courtyards. You can see the fort's beautiful views of the hills around it and learn about its long history at the same time. After you see the fort, get in your car and drive to Bikaner. The trip would take roughly six hours (330 km) across Rajasthan's arid but stunning terrain. When you get to Bikaner, check into your accommodation and take some time to unwind. In the evening, you can rest at the hotel or take a quiet walk nearby to get a feel for Bikaner's serene beauty. To complete the day in comfort, stay the night in Bikaner.

Day 3: From Bikaner to Jaisalmer (330 miles / 5.5 hours)

Visit the spectacular Junagarh Fort to start your day. It is known for its beautiful interiors, distinctive architecture, and long history with royalty. Unlike other forts in Rajasthan, this one was erected on the plains instead of on a hill. It shows you a lot about Bikaner's great past. The Rat Temple, sometimes called the Karni Mata Temple, is where you will go next. This holy shrine is home to thousands of rats, which draw tourists from all over. After you get blessings at the temple, get in your car and go to Jaisalmer. It would take roughly 5.5 hours (about 330 km) to get across the dry, golden landscapes of western Rajasthan. When you get to Jaisalmer, check into your accommodation and take it easy. Spend the night at Jaisalmer.

Day 4: Tour of Jaisalmer City and a night in the desert

Start your day with a visit to Jaisalmer, the Golden City. Today, take your time seeing this gorgeous city. After that, you'll do one of the most thrilling things on the tour: go to the desert camp. Here are some of the best places to see in the city:
  • Sonar Fort, also known as the Golden Fort, is one of the few forts in the world that is still in use. The golden-yellow sandstone walls sparkle like gold in the sun, which gives the place a magnificent look.
  • Gadisar Lake: Walk around the lake in tranquillity. There are ghats and temples all around it.
  • Patwon ki Haveli: This well-preserved haveli has gorgeous architecture and detailed carvings that you will enjoy.
After you've seen the city, it's time to get ready for the desert camp. In the afternoon, head to the Sam Dunes. You can really feel like you're in the desert there. When you get there, ride a camel over the sweeping dunes and watch the sun set over the desert. To end your day, sleep in a magnificent desert camp under the stars. Enjoy a terrific night with a delicious Rajasthani meal, folk music, and traditional dance performances.

Day 5: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur (280 km / 5 hours)

After breakfast, leave Jaisalmer and head to Jodhpur, which is also known as the Blue City. The travel across the lovely desert roads takes roughly 5 hours (about 280 miles). When you get there, check into your hotel and take a few minutes to get ready before you walk out to view the sites.
  • Visit royal palaces and museums, and see breathtaking views at Mehrangarh Fort.
  • Jaswant Thada is a white marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II.
  • Clock Tower Market is a local centre where you can buy local delicacies, spices, textiles, and crafts.
At the end of the day, spend the night at your hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 6: Jodhpur to Udaipur via Ranakpur (250 miles / 6 hrs)

Drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur to start your day. The trip is roughly 250 km and takes about 6 hours. On the way, stop at the exquisite Jain temples in Ranakpur. They are a beautiful piece of architecture that you have to visit in a tranquil valley. People know the temples for their gorgeous white marble, 1,444 elaborately carved pillars, and calm, spiritual atmosphere. After enjoying the calmness and workmanship at Ranakpur, continue on to Udaipur, the lovely City of Lakes. When you reach there, check into your hotel and take it easy for the remainder of the day. After a long travel, unwind at your accommodation and take in the peacefulness of Udaipur.

Day 7: Udaipur sightseeing

On day seven, you will see and enjoy the beauty and charm of Udaipur, which is one of the most beautiful cities in India. There are so many things to see here, from romantic spots to ancient sites to stunning views of nature. The City Palace is a great place to start your trip. You can visit royal halls, courtyards, and stunning views of the lake. After that, head to Jag Mandir, a serene palace on an island in Lake Pichola. It's noted for its stunning design and peaceful atmosphere. Next, go to Saheliyon ki Bari, a well-kept royal garden that was constructed for the queen's maids. Then proceed to Bagore ki Haveli, a lovely haveli that has been turned into a museum that displays off Rajasthan's art and culture. In the evening, take a lovely boat trip on Lake Pichola. The water looks especially nice at sunset when the sky's golden light shines on it. Then, head back to your hotel for a peaceful night in Udaipur.

Day 8: Leaving Udaipur

After breakfast and a well-deserved snooze, it's time to bid goodbye to the beautiful city of Udaipur. Depending on when you leave, someone will take you to the airport or train station for your travel home. You will leave with bags full of treasures and experiences that will last a lifetime. The various forts, stunning views, glittering lakes, and golden desert will all add something special to your trip. You will bring home the colours, culture, and beauty of Rajasthan.

Visit the stunning forts and palaces of Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Jaipur, and Jodhpur. Every place has its own regal story.

Spend the night in the desert with a camel ride, sunset views, music, dancing, and a warm tent to sleep in.

Chokhi Dhani serves traditional Rajasthani food and has live folk shows, puppet shows, and a village-like ambiance.
